WE WILL SHIP PLANTS W/ HEAT PACK (IF REQUESTED IN WINTER) AND WILL DO EVERYTHING WE CAN TO ENSURE ITEM(S) ARE WELL PACKED FOR SAFE ARRIVAL. BY CLICKING TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU AGREE TO TAKE THE RISK AND UNDERSTAND THAT COURIER DELAYS, LOST PACKAGES, DAMAGES DUE TO HEAT OR COLD EXPOSURE, PACKAGES DELIVERED ELSEWHERE, DOES NOT WARRANT A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT.
Plants are perishable goods and we strongly suggest shipping them next day air to minimize any shipping delays or potential damage from transit/ courier handling. Currently UPS guarantees next day air service only. USPS and and UPS is not guaranteeing ground, 2-3 day, or priority. Some areas have not been affected by courier delays. Check with your local courier.
Orders placed for PICKUP must be picked up within 5 days of purchase. You will received an email notice when you order is ready for pickup and a second notice either via email (please check spam folder) or via phone as a courtesy reminder. Orders not picked up after 5 days will automatically be refunded as a STORE CREDIT.
We can “house sit” your order for $10/week up to 2 weeks. Please email us if you need this option.
Plants are thoroughly inspected before shipping to ensure they are healthy and free from pests. Plants shown on website are plants that we have in stock and randomly chosen to best represent current availability. Please note that there are variation in size and form as plants are living things and no two are alike. Should a plant have a substantial size variation, we will send you a picture for confirmation. Heat packs (96/ 120 hr) are available for purchase in winter months. If we do not hear back from you within 24 hours of the photo being sent, your order may be subject to cancellation. If you’d like to have your plant shipped out on a specific day, there is a Notes/Comment section in the shopping cart page. Otherwise, all orders will ship within 5-7 days (to assess quality and health of the plants). During busy times, there may be some shipping delays (7 -10 days out).
During transport, your plant may experience some drying out and leaves may appear slightly wilted. We recommend placing your plant in a shady, temperature-controlled location to allow acclimation. Mist the leaves and water as needed. Please do due diligence on how best to care for your plant as there is no one set standard because of various home environmental factors.
IMPORTANT: Once you have received your plant, unwrap carefully. Any bruising or breakage of leaves as a result of the courier handling is out of our control and will not be substantive for return/refund. Imperfect leaves or some slight distress is not a sign of poor plant health and not applicable for refund.
Please report any signs of plant stress (yellowing of leaves or stem rot) w/in 24 hours of receiving. Please submit pictures to email@example.com
We are unable to refund plants due to weather conditions (extreme heat or cold), lost shipments due to courier handling, or stolen packages. We cannot refund plants from negligent care.
There are some plants that are not beginner plants requiring high maintenance and know-how to their care. These are noted on each Plant’s description and are considered FINAL SALE and NON – REFUNDABLE. Do your due diligence to understand their needs prior to committing.
Please note that images are examples of what your plant may look like. If we are selling the exact plant, it will be noted “as shown”, otherwise it will be listed as assorted and size/ variegation will vary. Our images are taken by us of plants that have been in our collection. We will not issue a return label if you received what you ordered. We will try to ensure plant shipped is within acceptable variance of size.
While we do our best to ensure proper ID of plants, please do due diligence once you receive your plant and notify us to rectify any inconsistency within 48 hours.
Return labels will only be issued if plant is not as ordered or pest present upon opening ( An unedited unboxing video is encouraged). The return label must be requested within 48 hours. A full refund of the plant will be issued only once the return shipment is received and inspected. Plants must be properly secured and heat pack included (if required and may be purchased through Amazon.com). We kindly request that all returns shipped out within 72 hours after a return label issued. Plants just thrown back into the box and not properly packed or secured will be considered negligent care and refund will be voided.
